IP change at server taipo

Due to networking issues at the upstream provider, the IP address 112.213.126.20 was unavailable since April 6th, 2012, taking offline all sites hosted on this IP. We have immediately taken the necessary measures to obtain a new IP and have clients sites migrated on that IP in our system.

For clients who are using our nameservers ns19.sinohosting.net / ns20.sinohosting.net their sites should be back online now as they would be automatically updated by the system. For clients using external nameservers however they will need to update manually their records to the new IP. Please open a support ticket to obtain the new IP information.

Emergency IP Address change at server mongkok

Following network issues at the server mongkok which have started late this afternoon, it was discovered that the issue was with the IP address provided by the datacenter. We have now obtained a new IP address and are updating the server accordingly.

For clients using our nameservers (ns25.sinohosting.net / ns26.sinohosting.net) there is no change needed, although the DNS propagation time might mean additional downtime for your website. For clients using their own nameservers, please point your domain name manually to the new IP address.

For security reasons we cannot publish the new IP address here, however you can open a support ticket to obtain it from us.

Clients with their own dedicated IP address on this server have not been affected by this issue.

New IP address for tiger.sinohosting.net

Please note that the main IP address for server tiger.sinohosting.net is now changed to the following: 121.127.250.204 ;

If you are using our domain name servers then there should be no change required from your end. You will simply need to update your FTP settings to the new value. If you are using an external DNS however you will need to update your records there.

For clients having their own dedicated IP address on this server there should be no change whatsoever unless further instructions.
